Polio (Acute infantile paralysis)
Polio spread in Japan in the past, but not these days. However, we must pay attention
on it because its epidemic can be repeatedly seen in Asia and Africa.
After contracting the illness, cold-like symptoms such as fever will appear,
followed by headache, nausea, vomiting and palsy. In severe cases, muscle paralysis
may remain permanently or even result in death.

Routine Vaccination (age and frequency)
3 to 18 months of age, 2 shots, 6 weeks apart.
Side Effects
May have low fever or loose stool etc. 1 out of 450 million people may experience palsy.
Minimum interval between vaccinations
over 27 days
