Diphtheria, Tetanus
Diphtheria
Symptoms are fever, sore throat, and coughing. In severe cases, death may occur
due to suffocation, and/or heart and nerve function may be affected 2 to 3 weeks
later.
Tetanus
Tetanus germ lives in soil. It is not spread between people but infects the body
through an open wound. Once the germs enter a body, they increase in number and produce
toxin, which causes the patient unable to open the mouth, convulsions (spasms) or
even death.

Routine vaccination (age and frequency)
Period 2: 11 to 12 years old, 1 shot of DT.
Side effects
Slight swelling often occurs after receiving the injection. Some people may experience swelling of the entire arm. 3 to 4 out of 100 people may experience fever within 24 hours after the injection.
Minimum interval between vaccinations
over 6 days
